Communion and Tenebrae Service
Thursday April 2, 6:30pm & 7pm
Communion Service (6:30 pm)
We will gather for a UU Communion service before our traditional Tenebrae Service. This service offers a time for remembrance, reflection, and community as we honor the values of love, companionship, and shared humanity, inspired by the Last Supper. You are welcome to attend either service or both.
Tenebrae Service (7pm)
Join us for a contemplative Tenebrae service featuring readings, music, silence, and the gradual extinguishing of candles. This ancient service of shadows invites us into reflection on sorrow, loss, and the deeper truths of the human experience. In the growing darkness, we gather in community to honor grief, seek meaning, and hold onto the promise of hope and renewal.
