November 30 begins Advent and over the past few years, I have facilitated an online Advent retreat (supported mightily by Joan Coyne) using the writings and artwork of Jan Richardson. If folks are interested, I am happy to do it again. I will use the same book we used last year, “Night Visions.”
How does it work?
From November 30 through Christmas Eve, I post a daily reflection and prayer from Jan’s book via our online Advent group. (I have copies of the book available for those of you who do not have it from last year.) Through the online group, you can share your own reflections and reactions. Or you can just read along. Each week has a theme. Week 1 is Darkness; Week 2 Desire; Week 3 Preparing a Space; and Week 4 is Hope.
