At a typical Sunday Morning service, greeters welcome everyone on their way in and hand out the Order of Worship for the service. If you are new to First Parish, let the greeters know. They will be happy to help you find your way around and to answer any questions you may have.
Please feel free to come dressed in what makes you comfortable. At our services, you will see people dressed in suits and dresses, as well as t-shirts, jeans and shorts.
In order to make our sevices accessible to all, our church is equipped with an Assisted Listening System and Braille and large-print hymnals. These are kept in the back of the church (also known as the Narthex) and our ushers will be happy to get them for you.
We have accessible seating space in the front of sanctuary by the main door near the elevator. Please ask an usher if you need assistance in finding seating.
If you would like to speak with the Minister or our Lifespan Faith Formation Director before or after the service, the greeters will be happy to introduce you. Your children are welcome to join our Religious Education program or nursery during the service, or they may stay with you in the service.
After the service, there is a Social Hour in the Vestry (the church hall). Ask a Greeter to show you the way and help you find the beverages.
