Each day we have heard reports about issues with accessibility. The bottom line is that the UUA has been paying attention, but there remain problems in making GA more fully accessible. They acknowledged that they have work to do and promised to do better. Today a backup system was in place so that if the technology failed, they would be ready to proceed without having to wait for a fix. While there have been improvements (all speakers include in their introduction a description of their appearance, for the visually impaired), they acknowledged they still have work to do on accommodation for  the visually impaired.

I could not stay for the presentation of awards or the installation of newly electeds,  because I had to leave for the Rally for Right to Choose in Lowell.

Your delegate at GA
Dee Halzack

It was a pleasure to represent First Parish.
I welcome any questions you may have about my reports or the proceedings.
