The Worship Committee (Worship Minstry) is primarily responsible for planning and arranging worship services when the Minister is away. These services may be lay-led or many include a guest Minister. This year, for instance, guest speakers have included Suzanne Wilson, and Matt Meyer, assisted by committee members. As needed, the committee also assists our Minister or acts as a "sounding board" on any issue or question regarding worship. Items discussed have included: service subject matter, the chalice and chalice lightings, readings, special holiday services, etc.
As of this writing, the Worship committee consists of three members (Ron Deschenes, Marcia Allison and Glenn King) with two others having expressed an interest in attending future meetings. We meet on the first Sunday of the month at 9:30 am and all interested are welcome to attend. We also appreciate any input and feedback on worship matters so feel free to talk to us.
