2019-2020 Our Whole Lives (OWL)

Our Whole Lives (OWL) –7th through 9th grade offered in 2019-2020

UUA describes Our Whole Lives program as comprehensive education curricula for use in both secular settings and faith communities. Honest, accurate information about sexuality changes in lives. It dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, improves decision making, and has the potential to save lives. There is an OWL facilitator team and groups vary from 6 to 12 participants. Please note this program is offered only every other year at FPC. The next time program will be offered at FPC in Chelmsford is 2019-2020.

Current Participants: It is our pleasure to be able to offer the Our Whole Lives (OWL) program this church year 2019-2020.  OWL 7th through 9th. Start on ________ through ________.

Sessions: _____ Drop-off: at _____ DRE/RECoA will be waiting downstairs; Pick-up: at 6:10 to 6:20 Youth not in UUSoR will be waiting downstairs for pick up with DRE/RECoA; We do not want to rush any of the participants… Please respect youth’s space and do not come upstairs; IMPORTANT: If your child is not attending on a particular day please let us, me/Dolores know

Snacks: Please bring light snacks and refreshments for 13 people. E.g. fruits; veggies; juice/seltzer; chips; cheese; crackers; cookies; your child’s favorite; We all share bringing in snacks to be fair as possible: However if this is a financial burden to your family please see Dolores~

Dates & Snacks Information: Please remember Allergies are a shared responsibility. Let everyone know ahead of time if you have an allergy.  Allergies listed for this group are seasonal, latex, tree nuts and rabbit allergies, however peanut free and vegetarian alternatives are always welcome.
