When we want to let people know about concerns, breakfasts, holiday fairs, and other special events happening at First Parish by our congregation and leadership, it’s the Publicity Committee that rolls into action. We send out notices to local newspapers, specialty publications like UU World, as well as local cable television to let them know about items and events that we are offering to the community. We also maintain constant community presence through our listing in the Chelmsford Independent.
The Publicity Committee at First Parish receives, responds to, and implements requests for information to be distributed beyond the perimeter of our congregation.
We are always on the lookout for people to write brief articles to accompany our special event notices to highlight and generate interest for our church’s activities. If you, or someone you know, would like to be part of our church by writing an article, or by serving on the Publicity Committee, please contact us.
