Accessibility Building Project Updates

Lift Us Up -- It's time. Join us!

It’s time. After a decade of studies, discussion and soul searching we know what we must now do together. By improving our sacred space we will make it more accessible and welcoming to all. The “Lift Us Up Campaign” will provide you with an opportunity to invest in this vision for First Parish and to join the movement that will ensure our faith tradition is open to future generations. With your help, we will raise funds for the new elevator, second floor bathrooms and other improvements to enhance the safety and accessibility of First Parish. We will lift one another up in acts of generosity and good will making us a stronger congregation and benefit to the community. It’s time for us to act boldly and confidently, to show that we are good stewards, and that we as UU's indeed live our faith.
Our campaign will launch on January 8, 2017 and will continue through February.  Stay tuned for more information. Join us! #ILUU !

Lift Us Up!

Announcing the Lift Us Up Campaign -- our effort to raise funds for our Accessibility Building Project. Working together, not only will we raise funding for much needed improvements to our church such as a new elevator (Lift Us Up -- get it?), but we will lift each other up in acts of generosity and good will that will make us stronger as a congregation and people of faith. And we think the world could use some of our uplifting spirit right now! We know what we need to do; soon it will be time to act. The Lift Us Up Campaign will officially launch on January 8, 2017. We are planning gatherings and events to provide you with the information that you will need to make a pledge for the project and to reach our goal of raising $500,000. Stay tuned for more information and for how you can Lift Us Up!

The Capital Campaign team consists of -- John Schneider, Jim Curley, Deb Grad, Maura Snow, Caroline and Rosemary McMullin, Edith Murphy and Justine Sullivan as our chaplain.
