The main church newsletter, The Shooting Star, is published biweekly. It is snail mailed, or e-mailed to your home - depending upon your requested preference - usually on the Wednesday after the information deadline (every other Sunday night as posted on the church calendar). It is ‘free’ to pledging/contributing friends and members and sent to newcomers for several months at no fee, as they decide whether or not First Parish is the right place for them. (Those in financial need are encouraged to inform our minister and we will continue it as a courtesy mailing). You can cancel - or begin - your subscription at any time by calling or emailing the office (978-256-5133 or office@uuchelmsford.org). Your address(es) are kept in our church database only unless you give us specific permission to print/share it elsewhere.
The Satellite is published weekly with our order of worship on Sunday mornings. It is intended to be used as an alternative to spoken announcements pertaining to First Parish news only. Deadlines are always Thursday nights.
Anyone may contribute information for publication, but the staff and Standing Committee have final authority over anything printed in the church newsletters. Articles for both publications can be sent by email to office@uuchelmsford.org.
The church email list is for 'late-breaking' information or reminders that cannot wait for other means of distribution. If you would like to be added to this list, or removed from it, contact Cindy Gist at the church office (978-256-5133 or office@uuchelmsford.org). The use of this list follows the First Parish Church Email Policy.
