Well here we are, already heading into Christmas. It seems that every time I blink a week goes by. The only time I am even vaguely mindful of time is during Church. I am so grateful for that one hour per week of calm awareness. It resets the soul and prepares one for another blurry week. Those moments of deliberate and directed thought set the tone for a greater sense of patience, kindness. love, and compassion. First Parish heals the wounds of the heart which we incur in our daily adventures.

I am so proud of all the choirs for their hard work. The youth choirs are extremely capable and learn quickly. The Thanksgiving Intergenerational service was wonderful, even without as much rehearsal time as I would normally like. The choirs worked efficiently and did a great job. This is an excellent year so far for our music program. We have a lot of talent at every age level. Also, I need to express my total gratitude for Senior Choir and The Meetinghouse Ringers. It is such a pleasure to work with all of you. Thank you for making my job so enjoyable. And I thank everyone in our Church family for your eclectic musical tastes, openness to all heartfelt music, and the kindness you share every week.

With gratitude,

Your Music Director,
