It's hard to believe that September is already gone and fall is here. I am very excited for the coming months. The choirs are sounding great and there's a lot of music to be made.

I am playing a solo piano concert of improvisations and original compositions on Saturday November 5th at 7:00, in the Sanctuary. More on this later. Suffice to say it's going to be a lot of fun. This begins the second year of the First Parish Chelmsford Concert Series. A primary purpose of the series is to bring new people in, so it's a good opportunity to invite friends who might not otherwise attend a church.

Here's a quick reminder of some musical opportunities at First Parish. Junior choir (age 8 through grade 7) meets after Church 11:30-12:15 in the Sanctuary. Intermediate Choir (grade 8 through high school) rehearses 12:15-1:15 in the Sanctuary. Carol Choir (age 3 through 7) will start rehearsing soon and will meet at 12:15 in the sanctuary. For the adults, Senior Choir meets every Thursday night at 7:30 in the sanctuary and Bells on Wednesday nights at 7:30.

As always, feel free to contact me anytime with any questions about the music program.

Your music director,
Steve Zocchi
