The First Parish Office is open from 7:00 am to 12 noon Monday through Friday, but it is a good idea to call ahead to make sure Cindy is there.
First Parish Communication
First Parish uses a number of different ways to get information to our members and friends. In addition to our website, we publish a bi-weekly newsletter, the Shooting Star, and a weekly announcements notice, the Satellite. First Parish also maintains an events announcement list, a Facebook page and is on Twitter.
Announcement Lists: To sign up for one of the announcement lists, go to lists.uuchelmsford.org. Click on the list you're interested in, and submit your request to be added. You will receive a confirmation email. Reply to the email and you will be subscribed. If you are having problems confirming your subscription, please contact the office.
- Shooting Star: The Shooting Star is the bi-weekly newsletter of First Parish
- Sunday Announcements: The Satellite and the Order Of Worship are available by email on Fridays.
- Event Announcments: This announcement list lets members learn of upcoming Church events or other notices
- Social Action Announcements: This announcement list is for memeber who would like to be kept up to date on social action events at First Parish and in the community.
Facebook: The First Parish Facebook page also has occasional announcements. To get announcements from the Facebook page, you have to have a Facebook account. Go to the First Parish page at http://www.facebook.com/firstparishuuchurch and "like" it.
Twitter: You can follow First Parish on Twitter at @uuchelmsford. Recent Twitter announcements are also on the First Parish home page.
Snow Cancellations: Snow cancellation notices will be on the WBZ storm center (TV Channel 4,WBZ AM radio 1030, and on the web).There will be also notice of a closure on the church's main answering machine (978-256-5133). We will also try to get the word out via email (the Events list), Facebook, Twitter and the website, but we cannot guarantee this.
