I am a pianist/organist, guitarist, composer and music teacher who grew up in Westford, MA. I started piano lessons at age 7, guitar lessons at age 11 and eventually received my BA in Piano Performance from UMass Lowell as a young adult. I studied organ with Dr. John Ogasapian and served as his Assistant Organist at St. Anne's Church in Lowell from 1997-1999. I later became Interim Organist and Choir Director after Dr. Ogasapian's departure. I then served as Music Minister at St. John's Episcopal Church in Lowell from 2000-2014. I enjoy performing eclectic piano concerts, juxtaposing classical, jazz and original compositions. A perpetual student of music, I also studied piano with Constantine Finehouse and jazz piano theory with Steve Hunt over the last few years.

I began my work at First Parish as an Interim Music Director in September of 2014. A mutual decision was made to forgo the interim period so I was hired as the permanent Music Director. I own The Music Studio in Tewksbury MA where I teach approximately 50 students per week. My teaching philosophy (and my musical philosophy in general) is based on kindness, patience, fun and hard-work..."Fun-Work" if you will. I have recorded two CD's of original compositions and improvisations which are easily found online. I live with my wife Meghan, and our twin toddler boys Nico and Matteo, in Acton.

I began working here as the Church Secretary in 1992 at approximately 6-8 hours per week, which moved to 10 for several years, then to 15, quickly to 20 and now 30 as our congregation and my job description have grown. We are a strong community of caring people and I appreciate and look forward to more years of learning, adapting and working together.
